I began combining hand blown glass and wood  in 2016. I find interesting pieces at work and on hikes. 'Burnt Dragon' was the first piece that I created. It was found while on a hike in Tilden on Thanksgiving day 2016. My good friend and fellow tree climber/arborist Alex Hauk was with me on that hike. His unique sense of humor and perspectives were a great inspiration to me. He helped me find my artistic style and develop my 'eye' for natural forms. He tragically passed away in October of 2020. My artwork is dedicated to his memory.  Without him these pieces wouldn't exist. More pieces are being produced regularly and new pictures will be added as the collection grows.
